| Answers: I have a painting by the artist C. Cooper, does anyone know this artist Ok I purchased an oil painting when I was in the Dominican Republic on vacation about 5 years ago that was signed C. Cooper. I can't for the life of me find who this artist is even when I google him. The artwork is absolutely amazing! It's a beautiful oil painting on canvas with very bright colors that is almost abstract in a way. Everyone who see's it says it reminds them of a picasso. This painting was around 100 when I purchased it in Dominican and was very different than the other traditional paintings you see in the Dominican. I just want to know if any one has heard of the artist or has any work from this artist and if this type of art is possibly worth anything. |
| I am not a painter nor an expert when it comes to that kind of art. But I appreciate works of art and as they say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. If you find it beautiful then it's of value to you. If anybody else finds it beautiful, it's also of some value to them. By how much, I am just not sure. It's worth a 100 to you... |

| I have already gone to some painting exhibits but I haven't encountered the name C. Cooper yet. But honestly, I'm interested in knowing this artist and to see his masterpieces. If you really want to know, you can contact the place where you purchased that oil painting or you can ask some friends staying in Dominican. You'll probably know the mysterious artist you've been looking for. Who knows, maybe he will become famous someday because of his amazing paintings. |
