| Living it up in Dom Rep. Expats in the Dom Rep come in all sizes ans shapes. You have the senior couple who dive into the casinos. There are maybe hundreds of these, and they are well run. One can have a ball there and loose all the money you want! Then you have the beach nuts, there´s all you want there too: surfing and diving in beautiful blue waters. Then you always have a few girl-hunters, and there are activities for them too, only watch it with this! It can be dangerous. The merengue festival is coming up for the music and rum group. No one can hear a merengue play and not dance! All along the Malecon, the longest dico in the world. The Dominican Republic has it all, even for the art lovers, who have one of the foremost art scenes in that part of the world. Something for everybody...Cheers! |
| Hi to all. I am very much interested in learning more about the country of Dominican Republic most especially about the life of the expats who already made it there. I am to retire soon and is thinking of retiring there. So for those who have any good tips and suggestions regarding this matter kindly keep them all posted here.
