The Dominican Catholic Church has always been a staunch ally of the ruling classes and big business, and the priests who have spoken out have been sent to small towns with orders to "shut up". But it isn´t good to be left behind by popular movements especially when there are elections coming up. Even the Church must "stay in tune" with the street! |
