It is said to be the biggest economy in the Caribbean and Central America. It however is a developing country dependent on agriculture, trade and services like tourism. Agriculture and mining remain the two sectors of the economy that yield a lot in terms of export earnings. Tourism as well is a huge contributor of annual earnings.
Does the fact that the country has adopted a liberal market model an indication that prices in general are on the lower side?
