How are the prices of things in the Dominican Republic, in general? Since it is a caribbean island an is considered as a third world country, I figure that the prices of items over there, especially bare commodities, should be kept at a reasonable level.
Of course, this does not always mean that that would be the case. One must always consider that the poor are probably suffering much more than one may actually think.
