After the whole battle for human rights, born from the head-chopping French Revolution, and the pursuit of happiness of the American Revolution, where are we today with the subject of "rights"?Research has shown that animals are closer to us than we thought. Some are almost as inteligent than us. In fact, more intelligent that a dumb human. Some ask, do they have a soul? The soul gives us rights. This is a good question. Did God make anything without a soul? Some say that even plants have personalities and feelings. If we decide that animals have rights, then the whole cattle industry, the hamburguer factories, will take a beating because they have to grant the cows their rights. Then it would be a crime to go to the Serengeti and shoot a Leopard! |
